Abstract
One sample from the sites of Huseby, L1968:2225, Morlanda socken has been sent for analyses to the Environmental Archaeology Laboratory (MAL) at Umeå University.
The site is a settlement dated from the Mesolithic to the Vendel period. During excavationmonitoring, questionable features and flint were found. The examined area is located near the famous Huseby-Klev settlement.
The analysed sample comes from feature A4, a pit with a depth of about 0.38 meters. Two fire cracked stones were found in the infilling of the pit.
The main aim of the analyses is to give information about the vegetation around the site, as well as to obtain material suitable for radiocarbon dating.
